I'm worried that they'll switch it over at some point to a pay service and then I'll be out the money for the VPN on top of having to pay for GamePass. When it's running, VPN is not working. If I stop it, VPN is working again. Unfortunately, XBOX Gamepass Beta app will restart it, when ever it need it. Not a perfect solution, but you could try disabling the service to prevent it running, but then you won't be able to use Game Pass. You could set it to Manual so you start it when you need it.
