The standard Cisco VPN client (IPSEC) would never connect- their internal addressing scheme blocks the connection. I ended up swapping the users that had Verizon to using the AnyConnect client instead (which is an SSL VPN), and that solved my problems. I would assume that Sonicwall offers a similar SSL VPN solution.
